The Owner:  Christopher Hindman

My name is Chris Hindman and I have nearly (30) years of construction experience while spending the last (20) years focusing on the plumbing industry.
Over the last two decades, I was employed by some of the largest and most trusted volume plumbing companies in Western Pennsylvania.

Graduating from Mon-Yough Plumbing School of Allegheny County in 2008, I began my career as a service plumber where I mastered the art of repair plumbing.

I was exposed and trained on the nuances of repair and diagnosis, which led to the new construction plumbing industry where became a Crew Foreman in 2010.

The new construction industry enabled me to merge the applications of repair with the design of residential plumbing systems.

This attention and focus ultimately led to future opportunities within the plumbing industry.
In 2015, I accepted a position with a local plumbing repair warranty company, Utility Service Partners.

Responsible for the management of the claims spend budget, I created a department to provide the highest level of customer service named, “Contractor Services”.

In addition, I also managed over (150) contractors in North America related to the facilitation of complex jobs, average job cost (AJC), and customer service performance.
After the acquisition of USP in 2017 by HomeServe USA, I created the “Technical Specialist” Department in 2018.

This consisted of focus and procedures that was unlike anything in the warranty industry.

Through video analysis, plumbing training, and communication, the Technical Specialist Department saved the customers nearly $10M of out-of-pocket expenditures related to their benefit limits.

This ultimately led to my department earning and winning the 2019 Stevie Award for the North American Customer Service Department of the year.
